Alliance for Health Policy Announces National Search for President & CEO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (October 5, 2023) – The Alliance for Health Policy announced today that after a decade of service, President and CEO Sarah Dash will be stepping down from the organization once a successor is installed.  The Board is launching a national search led by Korn Ferry to identify Dash’s successor.

“The Board extends its deepest gratitude to Sarah for her visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to tackling our nation’s most pressing policy challenges,” said Tanisha Carino, Alliance for Health Policy Board Chair.  “Sarah’s distinctive contributions have been instrumental in navigating the Alliance through periods of transformative change while upholding our mission to advance health policy knowledge and facilitate solutions-focused dialogue among diverse stakeholders and leaders.”

Sarah Dash has served as the Alliance’s president and CEO since 2017, having previously served as president and co-CEO and vice president for policy.  Under her leadership, the Alliance for Health Policy (previously Alliance for Health Reform) has undergone significant transformations, developed innovative ways of convening across ideological and stakeholder differences, catalyzed thought leadership on a broad range of health policy issues through the annual Signature Series, and offered an annual Health Policy Academy for bipartisan congressional staff new to health policy. Within days of the pandemic shutdown, the Alliance also launched a Rapid Response COVID-19 Webinar Series that served as a trusted and reliable resource for the health policy community in Washington, D.C. and across all 50 states.

“It has been a tremendous honor to serve as the President & CEO of the Alliance for Health Policy,” said Dash. “As health policy and our broader society have undergone seismic shifts in the past decade, our team and Board have never wavered from our commitment to serve as a trusted forum for learning and dialogue across the health policy ecosystem.”
