Programming Update from CEO Sarah Dash
To our valued friends and supporters:
Three months ago, when all of us were just beginning to grapple with the unknowns of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alliance for Health Policy launched our rapid response COVID-19 Webinar Series with the goals of synthesizing information in the headlines and providing cohesive insight into the status of the response and remaining gaps in our system.
Over the course of this series, we hosted more than 20 webinars addressing key themes such as flattening the curve, health system capacity, and health inequities, reaching audiences in all 50 states and policymakers at both the state and federal levels. In case you missed any of the webinars, you can find all the recordings and related background materials online.
While many unanswered questions remain, it’s clear that this pandemic is far from over – and the effects of COVID-19 will reverberate throughout our society for years to come. We will be examining the short and long-term impacts of this pandemic on the health care system through our Virtual Summit on disruptors and transformers in health care, taking place July 21- 24, 2020. This event, part of our 2020 Signature Series, will feature live panel discussions, a keynote presentation, and more.
In these challenging times, new information is coming at us faster than ever – and we could all use a little help finding clarity amidst the complexity. No matter what, the Alliance will be here for you with the fact-based, thoughtful programming you’ve come to expect. As always, if you have any questions regarding health policy or suggestions for topics you would like us to cover, please contact us.
